Membership & Marketing
Membership Operations Attendant

The Membership Desk Attendant is part of the Campus Recreation team within the Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics serving a diverse University Community of over 40,000 people. The Membership Operations Desk Attendant provides administrative support to the Membership Office at the Pottruck Health and Fitness Center. This position is responsible for maintaining all membership functions including data entry, data reporting, sales, office projects, office inventory, and customer service. Will support marketing strategies and administrative projects. Position requires professional and courteous conduct to deliver excellent customer service. Receives direct administrative supervision and guidance from the Coordinator of Membership Operations.

Intramural Sports & Sport Clubs
Sport Official
If you love sports and want a fun and flexible job, then being an Intramural Sports Official is the job for you! The Sport Official plays an integral role in the program. These students are on the front line, day to day, working with all our participants. Previous experience is not necessary, but a basic knowledge of sports is very helpful. Work-study students are encouraged to apply, but work-study is not required for this position. Most students work about 10-15 hours per week, and scheduling is determined through weekly availability.

Sports officiating includes:

Event Assistant

The office staff plays an important role in the program. The Structured Sports Event Assistants' primary duty is to assist the Structured Sports Supervisor during nightly Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs. Event Assistants help with setup, check-in, and equipment rental. Most students work about 10-15 hours per week, and you set your own availability each week.

Fitness & Wellness
Pilates Instructor
Pilates Instructors within Penn Campus Recreation are responsible for delivering safe, effective, and creative private, semi-private and group Reformer/Tower Pilates sessions. The ideal candidate should have experience in classical or contemporary Pilates in either a one-on-one or group fitness setting. Personal Trainer

The Fitness & Wellness staff is hiring Certified Personal Trainers. Group Exercise Instructor
The Fitness & Wellness staff is hiring Certified Group Exercise Instructors for all formats. Facility Operations

Recreation Operations Assistants
Recreation Operations Assistants perform the duties that keep Pottruck Health & Fitness Center operational including managing facility reservations, re-racking equipment, disinfecting equipment, and serving as a visible resource to patrons and regularly walking through the space looking for medical issues and enforcing rules.

Qualifications/Where to Apply: Strong commitment to customer service, basic knowledge of computers and technology, ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, ability to walk for hours at time and bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

Spring/Summer Internship
The Facilities Summer Intern will assist with day-to-day facility operations at the Pottruck Center and Fox Fitness Center. They will assist in areas of risk management, equipment upkeep and data tracking, staff training, and event management.
