Aquatic PRograms and Classes.
Aqua Fitness is here to stay! Join the class on Thursday mornings at 7:15 in lanes 1 and 2 of the shallow side. A group exercise semester or drop-in pass is required to participate. Click here to learn more about pricing.
Aqua Fitness is perfect for those looking to make a splash by adding a strength-based, low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise to their fitness routine.
There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Fitness class so you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles.
Drop-in Thursday mornings at 7:15a and meet Miles, the instructor, and have some aquatic fun!
Stroke School: Starts and Turns is here for Summer 2018!
Advanced and intermediate swimmers can join us for a 1.25-1.5 hour lesson that has a very narrow focus on a particular aspect of swimming. Each offering will provide basic instruction on creating personal workouts and goals, using pool equipment and refining your stroke. The Stroke School will run in the deep end for both adults and children and will be limited in size.
Summer 2018 Stroke School will focus on starts and turns. Whether you’re swimming distance or a sprint, the start and the turn are key parts of the race. Head to Sheerr Pool for a starts and turns clinic where we work on flip turns, open turns, and IM turns, as well as dives, streamlines and underwater kicking, and the breakout.
